Since 2009 GMAC has conducted an annual survey into the demand for MBA and Business Master’s graduates worldwide.

Results from year-end 2011 indicate a large increase in companies planning to recruit MBA graduates. The actual figure of 74% is a dramatic increase on that of 54% of the previous year, indicating the growing importance of the MBA, and consequently, the GMAT. More interestingly, the number of companies planning to increase the number of MBA graduates that they recruit has nearly quadrupled over the same period (2011-2012). Add to this the nearly one third of companies who plan to pay higher salaries to MBA graduates who they hire, and 2012 looks likely to be a year of great prospects for MBA graduates worldwide.
