The SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) is a standardised test for college admissions in the USA. The SAT exam evaluates a candidate’s readiness for college and his/her knowledge in the area of mathematics, critical reasoning and writing in English.

About the SAT Exam

What is the SAT test comprised of and how long is it?

  • There are three sections to the SAT: Critical Reading, Writing, Mathematics.
  • In total the test takes three and half hours to complete.
  • Total number of questions: 171
  • Maximum score: 2400 (800 from each part).
  • Recommended leve: B2.

Where is a test center in Prague?

For how long is the SAT score valid?

  • The College Board (the organisation that develops and administers SAT), recommends 5 years.
